With 28 years of experience in online real-time healthcare claims processing Performance Health and its software and technology services provider MediKredit historically provided claims processing services to 29 leading healthcare funders including the Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS). All pharmacies in South Africa, over 22 000 doctor practices, over 300 private hospitals and over 100 public sector hospitals are electronically integrated with Performance Health via its software and technology services provider MediKredit.

Performance Health has, as part of the PH Partners (Pty) Ltd acquisition transaction, negotiated and secured a licensing agreement with MediKredit, the business that pioneered the introduction of online real-time healthcare claims processing in the country. This provides Performance Health with continued access to the MediKredit software and technology platform as well as maintenance and technical support.
